MI research activities, agreements, sponsorship, and development are managed through dedicated offices and facilities.
The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) is responsible for managing the Institute’s intellectual property and promoting the effective commercialization of Masdar Institute’s research.
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is focused on promoting and facilitating the awarding of funded grants and contracts to support research, educational activities, creative activities and public service through effective contract management.
This office is responsible for developing and enhancing MI’s research capabilities through development and management of research policy, strategic plans, internal research funding mechanisms, and tracking of the Institute’s research performance.
This department oversees MI’s core research facilities including the ATIC Fabrication Facility, Electron Microscopy Facility, Machine Shop, and Digital Systems Labs.
Located in the Knowledge Center, the MI Library serves as a central hub for science and technology information resources. It focuses on providing vital support for research activities, complementing the academic process to contribute to the wider world of scholarship and transfer of knowledge.
